Important Notice: Generally, our obd2 trouble code reader is universal and they support all OBD-II protocols, but in order to make sure the diagnostic tool can be used with your car, please make sure your car is after 1996 and it is with one of the above protocols. For example, our diagnostic tools are compatible with ISO15765-4/SAE J2480 (CAN BUS), ISO14230-4(KWP2000), ISO9141-2 and so on. Recent new vehicles are always with CAN, and most Asian and European manufacturers apply ISO 9141.

Installation instruction:

1, The default Bluetooth pass word is 1234.

2, You have to install the ELM software program to your pc/laptop or phone before you use the device. There are many ELM sellers provide software programs (most of them are charged) or they can be downloaded for free from the internet (or online shop). You can search via you local search engine.

3, If you have question on software, please feel free to let us know.

4, Pls turn the car's ignition switch ON when you use the device but no need to start the engine.

5, Different software and apps may have different features, there is no related with the OBD device, just try to find the right selection and configuration from the real operation display.

6, If you have difficulty in installation, please kindly contact our sales to request installation instruction (English only).
